rocio graves is a creator of beauty

a food alchemist, activist, food photographer, meditator and home gardener —growing a variety of local foods on her family’s land.

born in the 80’s on the island of mallorca, with british and spanish roots, she grew up in a small community of artists. a voice for sustainable-conscious living, she engages a slow paced life attuned to the rhythms of Gaia. she currently dwells in a yurt surrounded by abundant fruit trees and cacti, under the brightest sun and starry skies. she is deeply passionate about regenerative farming, holistic healing and food as medicine. she has basic studies in plant-based nutrition and is partaking in ongoing studies of Ayurveda.

having stayed and travelled extensively in india, volunteering and learning about biodiverse regenerative farming and seed saving at vandana shiva’s organic farm ‘navdanya’ - rocio received her BA in human rights in london (2010) where she dove into deeper understanding of water and farmers rights.

besides being a self-taught cook, rocio is also a food photographer — she has developed recipes and created stunning imagery for brands and online/print magazines, alongside sharing for her own online community (@rociosgraves). she is currently focused on her own creative food projects — her recipe collection The Ones was released in may of 2021 — cooking for retreats, small gatherings and for a small number of private clients.

in march of 2022 she launched MELT (spaces) — cocoon sanctuaries for women to bloom.

rocio’s food is inspired by mediterranean, middle-eastern & south asian cooking, following ayurvedic principles.

in harmony with the movements of nature, she cooks plant-based dishes with organic and nutrient dense seasonal produce from the local farmers— her food is vibrant and fresh, celebrating simplicity.

prepared with presence in devotion to all of creation.

she is currently based in mallorca.

Rocio is available to cook for retreats, private events and dinners in Mallorca, and is able to travel internationally. Her calendar is fully booked for 2023.
